Neil and Freda Corner's 98 Key Ex White's Family's Gavioli Organ with the famous dragons face in the centre.....( I have held this carved face many times when helping out on the organ and it/he is not as heavy as it/he looks)
Rare Birthday Card:
The Above Image is of a very very rare but utterly delightfull Birthday card with a Dutch Street organ on it which I got for my 13th Birthday some years ago and I have had it framed and preserved for the Future. I do not beilive that these have been seen before by other Fair organ enthusiasts.
You can or could buy these cards with different street organs on them from a shop in Trowbridge ( near Somerset ) in a music shop called " Ducksons and Pinka "...................

Mechanical Barrel Organ in Mary Poppins Broadway:
My freind Jeffrey Metzler is in the wonderfull sell out production of " Mary Poppins on Broadway " and in the show they actualy use a Mechanical Barrel Organ which Gavin Lee who " Bert " the Chimney Sweep plays in a few street scenes throughout the show............
Note that as he turns the handle the barrel with pins actualy turns around inside the organ but it sounds nothing like a Mechanical organ in the show sadly........
